How was your NEET 2022 paper?

Hey friends!

After being a silent reader on quora for over four years and reading countless answers of medicos finally the day has come when I’ll be writing one!🙂

So without wasting anymore time let’s dive into subjectwise paper analysis->

Physics

I began attempting my paper from physics section (never tried this earlier in any of the mock tests), Probably seeing one liners prompted me to do so 😅 . Anyways, overall it took me about 1 hr 10 minutes to finish physics. The questions were very much direct and formula based and some didn’t even require pen and paper( billingual paper opt krna bekaar gya 😶). I am expecting 175/180 in physics according to aakash answer key, got that Biot-Savart’s one wrong due to the word only statement 1.

Chemistry

I began attempting chemistry around 3:15 with my mind full of thoughts of cutoff of AIIMS D being 715 after such an easy physics section. Chemistry took around 45 minutes, most questions were direct NCERT lines and extracts, and the paper was dominated by A/R and statement based questions just like JEE mains(NTA ke pass teachers kam pad gye the lag rha 🤔) which I am not very good at, so was confused in few questions at first but maintained my pace and continued. Overall I am expecting 170/180 in chemistry section. The questions which I got wrong are—

Still I feel that for question 60 statement 2 should be true as general trend is of increase in boiling point with H2O as exception but rest depends on NTA.

Biology

I was pretty confident in biology section since I was consistently scoring 350+ in aakash intensive series.Began with zoology first The paper was again filled with A/R and statement based questions(jitne 30 saal me milake nhi aaye honge , utne is paper me the 🥲). I did full zoology section in around 25 minutes but was confused in tegmina question(forgot whether it was forewing or hindwing .. damn me trying recalling and changing answers every minute 😑).But luckily marked the correct answer so no regrets.(Us samay lag rha tha bhai cockroach padh liya hota dobara 😬)

Beginning with botany I tried attempting questions at a faster pace due to less time left at hand and had to bubble entire OMR too. Was sure in almost all questions except that bonus question from anatomy of flowering plants,All 5 statements seemed correct. Started bubbling OMR leaving that question aside. After finishing Bubbling OMR decided to spend the rest 5 minutes on that bonus question. Even after trying for 5 minutes I couldn’t figure out which statement is wrong, so went for guess work and ticked a b c d are correct since e was present only in 2 options and rest in three options 😮‍💨.

Overall right now I am scoring 360/360 in biology according to aakash/allen key. But I strongly feel there can be a change in spermiation question’s answer due to the use of word from in NCERT, in which case my score shall be 700.

So overall expecting 705+-5/720 in yesterday’s paper.

Though I am no expert but in my opinion cutoff will rise drastically this year with much inflation but the number of students securing above 700 would be more or less the same as last year but still I don’t think I would be getting AIIMS D(jis pe bachpan se crush hai) ☹️ but yeah still hoping for a 2 digit AIR with these marks. 🤞
