I would suggest RVCE over MIT as:
1. The CS faculty at Manipal is quite bad. You have to do all the studying youself.
2. You can’t rely on more than a couple of them for projects. Not good if you’re looking to do a lot.
3. Since RVCE is in Bangalore, you’ll be more in the loop. If you choose to get into research, you have IISc and IIITB. If you choose to get a job, there tonnes of startups and companies.
Another important tip I would give you is to look at it from a non-acadmic perspective.
If you like the small town feel you may fare better at Manipal.
