I am not from CE Branch but based on my last year’s experience(When I had to choose between IITI CE and IITP EE) I can tell you why IITP CE is better.
Last Year at the same time I was confused between which Branch to go for. On one side there was EE but in Patna and on other there was CE in Indore. I did my research and was able to find contact of one of the PhD fellow of IITI who was of CS Department, I inquired him that whether I should take IITI CE or Not? He immediately asked me “Aren’t you getting any branch anywhere else? Because CE here is very new and doesn’t have as much facility as other branches have and there will be no one to guide you as the first Batch hasn’t passed yet” after listening to this I immediately decided to go for IITP. This is the answer to why you shouldn’t go for IITI.
Here’s the answer to why you should go for IITP CE:
As far as I know CE is on of the most chill and active branches in IITP with most amazingly supportive and chill Professors. They have got there own Workshop, Lab, you name it. We have Seniors which are already in very renowned companies with good packages who guide there Juniors in continuing this trail . And yeah one more thing IITP provides every facility that any new IIT will provide, So there is no dis-advantage of being in IIT “Patna”.
