I’m a VIT graduate in bachelors from Electronics and Communications. As a matter of fact, the placements here are not as they appear to be in their advertisements and reviews in various websites across the web. Coming to placements, VIT is a computer science centric university and other departments are not even given a proper opportunity to attend cse based organizations for placements (even if you are eligible). They either remove you on the basics of gpa, or other exams, but you are sure to be not enlisted in the applied students list even if you apply for the job on the required portal.
If any student takes a step to question the authorities on what has been done, the student either gets removed from placements activities for a couple or months else gets blacklisted from all the placements activities.
As a matter of fact, they ask you to pay an additional fees of 7.5k to take part in placements and yet you can’t question them. This seems quite negative and fake, so I request the reader to confirm the same from their seniors or relatives who would have been a part of vit.
