To VIT alumni : Would you send your child to VIT University for his/her Bachelors?

I did bachelors from VIT in Biotechnology during 2008–12.

I do not think I will send my child to VIT as a first option, Why?

1. Archaic and orthodox rules for girls
2. Too much influx of students now in VIT (especially management)
3. Its expensive ! (was far affordable when I did my bachelors)

I would prefer my child (future) to study in Govt colleges, rather than a private one ! During my time, I was not well aware of all the scholarships or entrance exams for Govt colleges. There are lot of opportunities out there, we were unaware of.

Saying that, I do admire VIT for its strong academics in biotechnology, an amazing infrastructure (including a super class library). During my time, there were some really nice Proffesors. I do owe them a thanks !
