Some companies value a masters degree, however earned and appreciate the candidate’s resolve to study further and improve his/her knowledge, but this won’t be the “cut-off” criteria to get hired. But can be an added advantage. In my company there is a un-written rule to prefer masters degree holders, as much as possible!
Most commonly companies consider the test or interview results and skills on the required area of work to arrive at a decision on whether to hire someone or not.
My opinion: If you have time and money, please do study. Knowledge is always respected and comes to the rescue, someday sometime. Study to gain knowledge and NOT just to earn a degree. If you can afford to spend time and resources on a full time course, please do go for it. If you can afford to spend time off the working hours with some support from your organisation, please go for WILP MS or M.Tech.
