Gravitas is the annual techno-management knowledge carnival of VIT. Usually takes place in the month of October. This is one of the two fests held every year in the college. It attracts students from India and abroad and provides them with a platform to display their spectacular talents and innovations.
It is usually a three day fest , and generally conducted over the weekend. The fest consists of a lot of workshops that help equipping students with more skills and /or help them improve in domains they are already quite good at. Depending on your requirements, this fest has it all. Whether you’re looking for a three day period of fun and frolic , or on skill enhancement, you’re covered. The college clubs and chapters organize fun activites and set up elaborate arrangements. Similarly there are many technical workshops as well.
Also , during this period, the college allows restaurants and other big food chains to set up stalls inside , so if you’re a foodie , it’s a three day binge fest for you. And if none of this excites you then , there’s always the sweet pleasure of seeing a very beautiful campus decorated and bedecked with great effort, and it just looks fantastic.
