Study regularly during college. Standard text books. Don’t orient your studies only towards some PG entrance exam. (Because the pattern is continually changing. They are changing the question bank completely these days.)
So it might not be helpful. They are adding clinical scenarios and picture based questions as well.
I studied frequently asked topics thoroughly during college. Make notes for them so that they can be revised later.
In general, study because you are curious. Try to) Study everything. Regularly.
Of course you can’t remember everything, you can’t read everything. And maybe a goal-oriented study is more efficient than a general vague reading.
So read from multiple sources. Solve questions after reading topic from book. I call it – A prospective study . And not a retrospective one, where you first solve questions then read topics selectively which should be practiced during the final year of preparation.
And believe me you will cross the bridge when you will come to it.
