Class XI is the class wherewould re-invent youself. Your whole thinking will change. I will give you some tips from my experience:
- It is not a rest year. Many students in my class considered it, they left out all things and now I can guess what will happen in XII.
- In XI, you will come to know how over-hyped these board exams were. Take my advice, it is still not late, start acquiring knowledge ( if you are a victim of that mentality in X where everyone rote learns answers)
- Pick a hobby and pursue it seriously. You have a long vacation after boards. Start something new and fresh.
- If you plan to move out of India for college, start your research in XI. I bet you would feel you have plenty of time to understand things.
