What is your review of University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES Dehradun)?

An honest review : This college is not a good option if you aren’t going for APE branch. If you have got a choice between UPES and any other government college, Manipal, SRM, VIT,etc. Choose them, Because the biggest problem in the college is IT just doesn’t have a campus life !! Because the campus hostel itself is located 4kms away from the CAMPUS.

1. TOO DAMN EXPENSIVE !!
2. Lacks Infrastructure/Campus is too small
3. No Renowned Faculty
4. NO AUDITORIUM !! ( C’mon even schools have one )
5. hardly any visible extra-curricular activities
6. Fest is average
7. UNIFORM !!
8. Placements are really not good. (Except APE)
9. Dehradun as a city itself is pretty boring.
10. There’s a facebook Page by the name of UPES News Extravaganza which itself mocks the University.
