Although my answer is requested i am not sure why? If you have reasons NOT to believe ISB alumni why will you believe a current student!!! We are all the same isn’t it?
I will try being objective and leave the “rosiness” interpretation to you.
ISB placements are better if not at par with any premier B-School placements. I don’t know what you interprete as “rosy” but you can look at average packages on the school page and see if it fits your definition.
Keeping in mind people come to ISB with ~4 yrs work ex. The figures are quite impressive (per me).
From your question i can sense a pre-disposition. I will NOT try to dissuade you from your belief, you are entitled to it.
But if you want an objective answer then the moments of truth are the alumni who are doing exceedingly well in their careers.
A B-School ‘ROI’ ( a huge buzzword) is not the immediate package ( which as i pointed out is better than most premier b-schools) you hit from campus but the long term returns of your education- that’s my two cents.
