Counselling of JEE main & JEE adv is conducted by JOSAA vide different rounds , it takes place in the last week of of June after announcement of JEE adv results and continues till last week of July .To take part in the counselling you must have to register and do the choice filling in order of preference of institutes & branches.Keep in mind that it is one time exercise so take every possible care to do the choice filling because any negligence on your part may put you in embarrassing situation.
