The National Board of Examinations has made certain changes in the NEET PG Exam Pattern which are –
- The total number of MCQs have been reduced from 300 to 200 questions.
- Hence, the total number of marks is now 800 instead of 1200.
Here is the detailed information regarding the exam pattern of the NEET PG
- The exam is conducted online i.e Computer Based Test.
- It is a single session examination.
- The question paper is available in English language only.
- Total number of questions – 200 MCQs
- Total marks alloted – 800 marks.
- The total time duration of the test is 3 hours and 30 minutes.
As per the experts, majority of the questions will be clinical-based.
Marking Scheme of NEET PG
- For each correct answer, 4 marks will be awarded.
- However, for incorrect response -1 will be deducted.
There shall be 25% negative marking for the incorrect answers. However, no marks will be deducted for unattempted questions.

- General Surgery including Orthopedics, Anaesthesia & Radiodiagnosis

- Ophthalmology
