What is the difficulty level of Computer Science Engineering compared to 12th std PCM?

  • 0

I would say Comp Eng is easier than 12th std PCM (If our comparison is based on per semester)

  • Comp Sc. includes syllabus in a particular direction i.e. computer. While PCM are different things.
  • Let’s consider math: math in 12th is base of engineering math. So when one gets introduced with math in 12th, he might find it a little difficult because of vast syllabus and new concepts. While in engineering (with base of 12th grade math) we would find it easy at some extent because the basic things like integration and differentiation are not new for us in engineering.
  • If we consider physics: There no physics in Comp Eng except that Logic gates or Semiconductors. Here also one would study only the circuits and not how the voltages and currents flow in them (which we would do in 12th’s Physics). 12th grade physics includes all the branches of physics like nuclear physics, aerodynamics, astrophysics, optics, semiconductors theory etc. All of these thing at a time can become hard to swallow.
