I cannot generalize the placement to the entire college. It is obviously branch dependent.
If you are in CS or IS then expect some really great packages above 10 LPA and many above 20 LPA as well. ECE as well is quite at par with these two branches but many of the companies come for software profiles and do not consider a non CS/IS student as eligible.
Most of the other branches have average packages of about 4–6 LPA. But this package is solely dependent on your hardwork and of course, LUCK!!!
Most of the companies coming to visit campus come generally for CS, IS, ECE so these branches always stand out. But you do have quite a bit coming for the other branches as well but their packages arent too appealing.
But still some amount of hardwork can get you a great placement. I have had 2 of my friends in my department ( TCE ) getting packages of 19 LPA and 18 LPA. But undoubtedly , either keep studying CS topics for placements or join CS branch if you want to hit the scale in terms of your package.
