It is usually visiting people of your faith in hospital. Often people in hospital, with serious illness, have questions about life and death. It can be enough to say; I am visiting you because you are down as Catholic/Christian. Its not just a religious visit the conversation can go around the illness and the stress. If the patient want to ask a religious question, they know they can.
