SRM University has been a life changer for me frankly. As a small town kid from raipur, I had no confidence, self respect or any kind of elocution skills. But I had one idea in mind, not to let my shy and reserved nature come in the way. SRM teaches you (as a north indian) how to interact and accommodate people from different cultures and see the best in them, even if we are poles apart in our ideologies. I finally witnessed ,first hand, that people everywhere are essentially the same and there is no need to be scared or anything. The guy telling people that SRM students become drug addicts is the one who should open his mind before he opens his mouth. Recreational marijuana is legal in the US now. Go search for it on google. It’s all about the mentality. I graduated from SRM, a more confident person than I was and with a broader perspective of the world.
