What are the pros and cons of studying in SASTRA University?

  • 0

Pros:

1. SASTRA follows one of the most transparent and fair admission procedures among all self-financing universities. Unlike its peer universities, there’s no management quota and no reservation of seats on basis of caste.

2. Almost every student around you is sincere and hardworking. Probably they were among the toppers in their respective schools. Again, this is because of the merit based admissions.

3. Culture, values & safety. The three aspects that the parent community loves. Safety is given very high importance in girls’ hostels.

4. The infrastructure is also commendable at 30 lakh sq ft of built-up space. Facilities are decent enough and the fees is very less compared to its peer universities.

5. There are few really good technical and cultural clubs in the campus. You can see people from varied cultural backgrounds. Gives you good exposure.

6. Decent campus placements. Almost all the students will have at least one job offer at the end of their senior year. Few service based companies take students in bulk. Worthy and qualified ones are placed in major IT companies or core companies.
