There are two hostels available for freshers (male) in MSRIT:
- Freshers Block (Double Occupancy Only)- Rs 80k approx for 1 year
- New NRI Block
- Single Bed (Unlikely to be available for a fresher) – Rs 1 Lakh for 1 year
- Double Bed – Rs 85k for 1 year
- Triple Bed – 75–80k for 1 year
Both hostel shares same mess (pure vegetarian) so there’s no comparison for food between both hostels.
The above fees covers both room rent as well as mess advance which is around 23k for 1 year. The balance mess advance will be refunded at the end of each year. Additional facilities include Free Laundry, Free Wifi (2 GB per day) and paid cloth press service.
Apart from these 2 hostels there are some private hostels under Gokula Trust (Parent trust of MSRIT) situated just outside the campus with fees varying from 80k – 150k per annum according to the facilities and occupancy.
