Day-Sharing is a Recruitment and Selection process held every year in SRM University.
Day-Sharing procedure means the group of top mnc’s will come at a time on a day sharing basis. That means l day – 1 company will conduct recruitment process.
This process will be held for 4–5 days depending upon number of companies comes in day-sharing. The overall result of recruited students for all those companies will be announced after completion of day-sharing. Students have to select one from them if they have got placed in multiple companies.
It happens twice in a acedemic year
Day 1-Sharing : Usually It is held in 7th semester. When I am in my 7th sem (2012–2016 batch) Cognizant, Tcs, Infosys, Wipro conducted placement drive in day1-sharing. Accenture and capgemini conducted its recruitment process separately and that to for only kattankulanthur campus students. In Day 1 – Sharing I got placed in wipro and Infosys. I have chosen Infosys.
Day 2 – Sharing : It is held in 8th semester every year. The process is similar to Day 1-Sharing. But I don’t know the names of the companies conducted placement drive in day 2-sharing as I was in Infosys Internship in 8th semester.
Overall, the placement drive in SRM University will be a satisfactory experience.
