If you have AIT merit less than 200 then 100% you will get CSE for sure.
Anything in between 200 – 300 Getting CSE will be uncertain.
If you have AIT merit more than 300 then you will not get CSE. (This is not certain)
I still don’t get what you really want to ask. Provide me details so i can tell you precisely.
EDIT 1:
Students get admissions in 2nd year if there are vacancy due to some students leaving the college in first year as they get Recommended in INDIAN ARMY/ NAVY/ AIR FORCE. This entire procedure is termed as migration of student. This migration can be done within the same university i.e for migration you should have done your 1st year from a college which is affiliated to SPPU otherwise you are not able to migrate since AIT is under SPPU(Savitribai Phule Pune University).
