I have personally visited the campus of DTU, NIT delhi & IIIT Delhi. Except for IIIT D which seemed OK, others are miserable. NIT delhi might improve once it is shifted to its own campus. DTU is encashing on its old reputation .placements are good. students participate in different programmes. campus is poorly maintained. hostels are horrible.. lab equippments dont work… usual story of a govt college.

Not everyone can clear tough competition AIEEE / bitsat etc. India has huge population & limited seats for engineering in govt colleges. Excellent options are still available to those who are willing to spend.( unfortunately)
