Many claim Vit exams to be fishy because they don’t show marks after exam while in bitsat you see your bitsat score and even complain if there’s any error.
Vit admits mass , Bits admits class . Vit cse branch has 1000+ students in cse only while bits goa has a total strength of around 1000 including all branches. Vit focuses on quantity not on quality.
In terms of placement , our average cse placement stands at 22 lpa while in vit i have seen students saying that 10+ lpa package is super dream package . Bits Ece ,eee ,eni performs better than this . Even in the newest of Bits pilani i.e. hyd , microsoft is the biggest recruiter in cse.
Even in non cse branch Bits placement outstrips that of other private college . The thing is Birla doesn’t make much money out of Bits.
In bits there are many students including me who have qualified jee advanced . Many students in our cse department have got rank around 4000 in jee advanced but they left IIts probably because if you are from general category you won’t get a good cse in IIT .
