Is Sharda University good for a BTech?

  • 0

I completed my graduation (B.Tech) from Sharda University in Electronics and Communication in 2015. I got job offer from Tech Mahindra through campus placement. Four years on, having heard and learned about many other colleges, here is what i have learned and realized.

Every college has roughly the same story. Same problems and same issues. Same confusions and miscommunications during placement drives. No matter how famous college we might be talking about. The only difference is – Placements and Packages offered.

Our batch of 2015 did fairly well in getting on-campus jobs. Down the line many of my batch mates are doing really well. Working in good companies, at good pay scales. Even better from those who have graduated from really famous colleges. So, it all depends upon you.

Coming to the point again, as an alumni of Sharda University, I can say I have no regrets. It is a good college. They have a great campus and great infrastructure. Also their curriculum is much better than that of traditional UPTU colleges. I remember we used to have an optional subject every semester from second year onward. I used to pick a computer programming subject every time which ultimately helped me in my placements. Sharda University also gave me great exposure and helped me develop myself both personally and professionally.

In conclusion i would like to say – Your college can be as good as you want it to be.
