In my perspective, most of the top college are same. Also, most people say that there is difference in teaching but that depends on the students.
Choose the college which gives you higher CGPA because at the end of your engineering only that and specialization matter in India. Contact student from different college to know this.
Because from what i have seen some of my friends from NIT cant sit for placement for some company because of CGPA cutoff.
In my View, i would say that end of the IIT is a brand not NIT, so secure the seat in top college where you get as much as CGPA possible so that if you go for higher studies or while switching jobs you wont have any problem.
