RVCE’S PVT UNIVERSITY BILL WAS SUBMITTED AND PASSED.
RV College of Engineering, one of the most sought-after engineering colleges in the state, has received private university status after filling seats in all branches in the first round of admission. The management will fill the seats depending on the results of the Common Entrance Test (CET) 2020. The Private University Bill, which would provide RVCE university status, was presented to the legislative council on Thursday and passed.
RVCE management representatives, on the other hand, stated that they will solely fill engineering seats through CET this year. “This year we will fill the seats through CET,” head of the Rashtriya Shikshana Samithi Trust, which operates multiple universities including RVCE, said, “but from 2020 admissions would be done through tests given by individual colleges.”
