Both are the campuses of the same organisation that is Manipal bt they have named it Manipal academy of higher education. The third campus is in Sikkim, known as Sikkim Manipal.
So, even though both MIT and MUj are the part of same organisation, they are completely separated from each other in terms of everything. They have independent management running each campus and have no contact or interference with the other one and that gets extended to the student levels too.
There is not even a single interaction or combined activities or any kind of competition with the students of other campus not even a single exchange program for few weeks
