BITS is costly compared to IITs and NITs with a fees of around 22–25 lakhs,but BITS does offer several scholarships based two schemes namely ‘merit’ and ‘ merit cum need’.If someone’s annual family income is less that 12 lpa and he/she maintains a cgpa of above 6 you will get fee waivers ranging from 50 to 100 percent.Merit cum need scholarships are easy to get.Bits also has merit scholarships in which you get a 100 percent scholarship if your cgpa is in the top 1 percent in the college, 80 percent for the next 2 percent and so on. Being from BITS pilani(or few IIITs) also gets you an easy loan of 20 lakh without securities that you can pay till 12 years after your graduation,don’t worry so much about the fees if you come and work you will pay your loan whithin a 2–3 years.
