If you don’t get into top 5 IITs/IISC or IIIT Hyderabad (for CSE) then BITS Pilani is good for ME.. But research scope is less but job opportunities are as par top IITs.. Also ME is costly in BITS.. you got to spend around 6lakhs but then you get GATE stipend & also you get internship stipend from some MNC you get PPO offer in 2nd year..
If cost still an issue, you can prefer top 3NITs over BITS
