I’d like to change the campus allotted to me during NIFT counselling. How do I go about it?

There isn’t really a way to do that right now, you have 3 options :

1) To stick with the centre you chose during the counselling and go ahead with it.

2) To apply for SPT I.e Student permanent transfer once you are in the second semester. Based on your overall attendance + your performance academically that year + your rank in the Nift entrance a merit list would be prepared and based on that you would be able to change your centre/course. But remember possibilities of this are really less if you are a general category student.

3) You can also participate in the second round of counseling.(by paying an extra fees of 5000/- rupees.) To be eligible for that there are 2 criterions :

1) To participate in the second round vacant seats should remain till the end of the first counselling, and if any they go for the second round.

2) Once you are re-allotted a campus/course you will not be able to claim the first one and then the new alloted campus/course would be final.

That is why it is always advised to select the course and center wisely.
