Computer science engineer in ISRO is involved in various activities and primarily responsible for 2 categories of work

1. Mission related activities
2. Non-Mission related activities

Mission related activities may require CS engineer to be involved in development

1. Web Development for Mission requirements
2. Application Software requirement for real-time operations ( mostly c/c++)
3. Application software for data analysis (c/c++/java)
4. Application software for data processing (C/C++/Java/Python)
5. Image processing (mostly commercial tools are used, but some sort of data processing is also there and in those cases development)
6. Network Design and maintenance of Networks for mission support
