With only two rounds of counseling this year nearly 85 seats were reverted to the state several of these seats were in MMC,KMC and SMC.
Still people around 6000 rank also got into government medical colleges in tamil nadu in the second round of counseling. There are plenty of govt medical colleges in Tamil nadu.
In Chennai there are 5 medical colleges with nearly 100 seats up for grabs for AIQ students. (MMC,SMC,KMC,GMC-Omandurar and ESI(KK Nagar)) This year the cut-off for GMC-O was 4800 for the unreserved category.
