Well I haven’t found anything specific to complain about regarding the hostel food at LPU. However, I feel this question is rather subjective. I mean you will always find students who do not approve of the food prepared in hostels. So unless you have a specific diet preference, I think you will like the food. It is hygienic and well-cooked to begin with.
The menu varies from day to day. You will get good old North Indian food and also other regional cuisines too. Hostels at LPU offer 4 meals a day. They have fixed timings so make sure you do not miss these. Also you can eat to your heart’s content, for there are no set food portions or anything here.
One small thing that some might find bothersome is that the hostels here offer vegetarian food only. But I guess this is the case with most college hostels in the country. The good thing however is that you won’t get bored with the food options at LPU. There are several canteens and cafes in the campus that you can visit from time to time, when craving for something other than hostel food.
