It is nothing like portrayed in the movies or fantasized by you.
SO my suggestion is to keep your expectations low, then you wont be disappointed much.
The teachers dont care about you neither do u care about them.
You just attend classes to get attendence.
Days are long and lectures are boring(nothing compared to school).
Then talking about the so called DU life, actually it depends upon the campus your college is in.
North campus means you will enjoy the best time of life there and you will enjoy at your fullest.
South campus, you will enjoy at mediocre level and nothing compared to south campus.
Off- Campus, you will start hating yourself for taking admission in DU and might loose your interest in studies.
That was just an overview and nothing is ever exactly the same, u might have the time of your life in an off campus and ur life might suck at north campus.
