How is civil engineering at IIT Patna?

  • 0

Here are some of the personal likes and dislikes about the Civil Engineering Branch at Indian Institute of Technology Patna, hereby leaving the reader to decide ‘How is civil engineering at IIT Patna?’:

Likes:

Fair student-teacher ratio: With the ratio being 30/10 and new faculty members to join soon, individual attention is guaranteed. Young, talented and student friendly Faculty members are the biggest gift to the Civil Engineering Department. Faculty members with high academic reputation and piquant teaching methodologies, is one of the brightest feature of IIT Patna. A young and friendly faculty member avoids the teaching-learning boredom.

New and optimum infrastructure: Since the college is in its formative years, most of the infrastructure and instruments are new and enough in number to provide everyone with an opportunity to actually perform the experiment and handle the instruments.

Better possibility of scoring a higher CPI: Since the marking here, like all IITs is relative, lesser number of batch mates provides you with an opportunity to get a far better score printed on your grade sheet.
