How is Chitkara University for a B.Des?

  • 0

In general Chitkara University is very focused of academics so all their programs are good and very well defined. I did my B.Des in fashion design at Chitkara and they gave me every opportunity to shine and grow here. Fashion in general is a very competitive and fast evolving profession to be successful you need to be in the right environment and chitkra offers you that and more. From teachers who are highly qualified from institutes like NID NIFT etc. to the course that’s in total coordinated with the latest that’s happening in the industry, to workshops and labs where you get hands on trining my not just your own teachers but mentors from the fashion industry who are the best, you are set for a good future. These are few of the things that I feel every fasion student should check before joining a program for me all the boxes ticked at Chitkara. We were helped with some great internship that gave us hands on traning which is very very important to professional success and growth and also networking. Being a creatively inclined person what I found a bit difficult to accept was the strict rules like wearing uniform and not being able to step out of college without permission. You have good global exchange programs that open your mind to a different level of growth and new ideas and concepts.
