Since UPES is in Dehradun, it is kind of isolated from mainstream. Design can not be taught well in isolation. Placements therefore also suffer.
There are more options in north offering BDes, with better opportunity potential. Try World University of Design, Sonipat and Ansal University, Gurgaon.
