It’s a bit early to judge, I only graduated 4 months ago, though I’ve been away from Campus for a year now and I attended my last class in BITS some-time in April 2012… but here are the changes that have occurred ever since I left campus.
0) I have realized that normal people can be pretty lame.
This is a little elitist and not very politically correct, but the standard for ‘stupid’ at BITS would probably be considered ‘smart’ at most places. If you expect the same standards elsewhere, you are going to be disappointed.
BITSians are often not particularly impressed by things and end up comparing things with Pilani. This can make them appear haughty or arrogant. It is a challenge to stay humble and stay grounded.
