I am completing my MBA in Sastra this academic year. So I think I would be the right person to answer this question.
Placement here is quite good. Mostly private banks, financial institutions were the recruiters. CUB, ICICI, Karur Vysya, Federal Bank, Integrated Financial Services were major recruiters this academic year. Sales and Marketing is predominant role offered by these institutions. Salary range between 2.5 Lakh to 4.5 lakh.
Tech companies like Zoho, Freshworks, Bridgei2i were also in the list but MBAs were meagerly recruited. May be one or two got selected.
Also, they help students to attend off-campus interviews with the connections the placement team has developed.
