Now coming to their placement figures, they keep on boasting about their highest package by Ankit Arora (31.77 LPA) with Amazon. But do you guys even know that Ankit is not even a student of this University? He got placed with CGC and that is what his Linkedin profile says.
Moreover, Ankit is the only student (that too from CGC)getting package of 31 LPA. and he got placement in the year 2017 and they are still on it. Nobody got a decent package after Ankit. So, don’t believe them.
The best thing about CU is the way they publicise things. From radio, TV, newspapers, to Facebook pages, everything is advertised beautifully. For instance, there is an advertisement on History channel where a student boasts about getting an intern in Walt Disney ( they think it’s a big deal going to Walt Disney, they don’t know that students from other regional colleges have gone for interns in prestigious institutions like ivy league universities or TU 9 universities of Germany). As mentioned earlier, the buses used for transportation have the tagline of “Asia’s fastest-growing university”. Brilliant piece of work is being done by the marketing team to make parents fall in their trap.
At CU, don’t expect yourself to be in a company of intellects or highly professional people. Everything is a show-off here and you have to be a part of it. This institute is nowhere near an IIT or a government institute.
