I am a 4th year student of MUJ.
No, its not worth joining. The only 2–3 companies that save MUJ students from unemployement are TCS,IBM,Mindtree & Capgemini…TCS and IBM dont even visit the campus. Its just a pool drive where you have to travel across the city to appear for the interviews. These all are service based companies and pay 3–3.5 LPA. You will be spending ~18 lakhs. This,it will take ~5 years to just recover the cost.
The only good thing about MUJ are its hostel rooms but you will be spending more than 150k for them per year.
The faculty is sub par at best(I never found anyone good really though). The management is very bad. The rules are very stupid – for example, the library is open only till 10 pm even during exams and on sundays, it closes at 5 pm….I mean WTF?
So, in conclusion, don’t join MUJ and better save your money and put it to better use.
