Well, to answer in 2 words :- Very good. Elaborating upon those 2 words, the placement record is quite good but, that totally depends upon the field you choose to do BTech. in. Speaking for Computer Science , the placement record is 100%, with the condition that you don’t have any backlogs.If you have extraordinary skills , you get a starting salary package as high as 24 Lakhs per annum. Mechanical Engineering from Chitkara is also a good option , they have a good placement record in it as well, not 100% but it is satisfactory. At last if Civil Engineering is something you want to do BTech in , don’t expect much from placements here. But, most of the people studying civil engineering here are not worried about placements as well. They either go for higher studies or Government Job.For ECE, the placement trend is same as the CSE department .
