The truth be told, the campus is huge and if you are not much of a walker you will be exhausted walking all day.
If you are a first year student, you won’t be in much of trouble as the hostels and classrooms are pretty nearby so you wont have to travel much. The only distance you travel in first year is if you are late for class and miss the lift, so you will have to walk all the way up to your classroom using stairs, or you make some friends and stroll the whole campus with them after classed.
If you are a second year student and your classes are not in the annexure campus, and you stay in hostels and you like to eat mess food. Believe me if you are not a walker you are gonna give up to either living in the hostels ( which mostly people do after their first years and shift to either Abode Valley or Estancia Apartments most commonly ) or sticking up to the mess food and either using the canteen or the cheap restaurants nearby like Delhi 6 etc.
If you stay outside and not in hostels you are much likely to buy a second hand vehicle to help you commute to and fro from the colleges. Here second hand as well as pay to use vehicles are available readily. If not, there are free shuttle buses that provide transportation from the P.F Hostel to the Main Campus via JavaGreen. These are a fleet of buses running continuously from the morning to around 8–9 pm in the evening at an interval of 10 to 15 minutes each.
Hope this helps. 🙂
