As you are in your first year at this moment, I think you’ll be giving NEXT rather than NEET pg and AIIMS pg entrance.
I believe and I might be wrong, the basic preparation part should remain the same if it’s a mcq based examination.
It is true that earlier you start the better it is but at this point, in my opinion it’ll be crucial to focus on the first year subjects. We don’t realise it at that time but first year subjects and second year subjects form the backbone of all clinical subjects and help us better integrate and understand things.
I wouldn’t suggest you to worry about mcqs right now but second year or third year is a good time to join a coaching and make your own notes and be familiarised with the whole idea.
In the end, the subject matter will remain the same and concept building is the heart of preparation.
