How do I get admission to UPES Dehradun?

They have a MCQ test. Fairly easy to get admission there. I have completed my B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from there.

I would highly recommend a different college due to the following reasons :

1. Limited campus hostel seats. They build a block every year but the hostel infrastructure is rarely increased.
2. Fees is too much in comparison to the level of teaching and facilities like labs, projects, etc.
3. Local people don’t accept outsiders and the Pradhan’s husband is the local goon who bashes up people every year and college doesnt do anything. By the time police comes (nearest police station 10kms away) all locals unite against the college students.
4. Drug epidemic :- Charas, Ganja, MDMA, etc pretty common. Locals rub and make charas and sell to students. Even college guards and workers are peddlers.
5. It’s an underdeveloped village and forest area and nearest urban centre is Prem Nagar 10 kms away.
6. No Uber or Ola due to local pressure from village Pradhan and their tracker driver friends and insufficeint parking space outside campus.
