UPES is among the top MBA colleges especially when you consider overall placements and teaching methodology. Also, UPES offers some niche MBA branches like MBA in Oil and Gas Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Aviation Management, Energy Trading, Power Management, Business Analytics, among other core fields.
To take admission in MBA in UPES – there are different criteria. There are two pathways you can take – Non-Examination Pathway and Examination Pathway.
Non-Examination Pathway – You need to appear in CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/NMAT/GMAT, which will be followed by a Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Different MBA specializations require MAT/CMAT score of 75 or 80 percentile, or CAT/XAT of 70 or 75 percentile. If you’re applying through NMAT, the minimum score required is 140.
Examination Pathway – Apply for UPES Management Entrance Test (UPESMET) to take admission in MBA course.
There are also scholarships on offer for students who have minimum 80% in CAT or XAT and 90% in UPESMET, MAT, NMAT, and CMAT.
I would suggest applying for UPESMET as it’s their own entrance exam and chances of getting 90% scholarship is more.
