First of all, scoring 150/180 is not a big deal if you have prepared well till now.
But if you have not prepared well and still asked, How to prepare so that you can get 150/180? Then, no one can help or guide you for achieving this score.
If you have prepared normally and only you have to revise. Then from my experience in solving COMEDK question paper you can get 120/180.
If you think you can score 120/180. Then I can help you understanding how to jump from 120/180 to 150/180.
Let’s start:
# Physics section:-
•Mechanics is the easiest part in this exam. Questions will be easy. You can expect 12–15 questions only from mechanics.
•Thermodynamics is very important for physics and chemistry too. one of the most scoring chapters(learn pv diagrams, different thermodynamics processes, Hess law etc.)
•Electrodynamics. In electrodynamics you should learn all the formulas and different type of problems on capacitors. One or two question will be definitely from Equivalent Resistance and equivalent capacitance. Wheat stone bridge is also important. You can expect 8 to 10 problems on this topic. so,don’t leave this section.
• Magnetism. Again, its very easy topic with easy level questions. just remember formulas.
☆ Communication system and Digital logics.
These two topics everyone thinks is very easy. But when question comes, they forget how to implement the formulas. You can expect 5 questions from these two chapters.
# Chemistry section :-
Physical chemistry: Physical chemistry topics are easy. But for solving questions, you have to do lots of practice. I always find this part of chemistry very easy.
Inorganic Chemistry: This subject is mainly based on how much you remembered the theory part. Yes lots of things to remember but all that effort will worth it when you will score 20/20 in inorganic chemistry. students always don’t concentrate much on periodic table and s,p,d,f elements and lose 6–7 marks in this exam. So I think you will not do the same mistake.
Organic chemistry: First of all, learn nomenclature, Isomerism of all types and command on topic General Organic Chemistry. Now you can start learning all the Name reactions.
last but not least for chemistry part
Biomolecules and polymer chapters.
There will be 5–6 questions only from these two chapters. You only read this chapter through NCERT book. That’s enough for chemistry part.
# Mathematics:
In maths, first remember all the formulas of each chapter. Then practice every chapter one by one. That’s really enough for maths part because mostly all the questions which comes in COMEDK in maths section will be formula based.
You can easily get 55+/60 if you learn all the formulas and know how to implement them. Practice basic questions. Maths paper will not be hard.
Note:
In this exam, there is no negative marking. So,first attempt all the questions you are confident with and then you can attempt all the unattempted questions. Only thing you keep in your mind although there is no negative marking yet your rank will depend on how many wrong answers you have checked.
So, prepare well.
