If you are a Non-Karnataka student you will have to give COMED-K examination. In this exam there is a lot of competition and you will have to score very high marks or in other words you will have to achieve a very good rank. If you want branches like CSE,ISE or ECE you will have to achieve a rank of under 1000.For other branches (EIE,Telecom,Mech,Civil) your rank can be anywhere between 1000 to 5000.
If you are a citizen of Karnataka you also have the option of giving CET where the competition is even higher.There you will have to get ranks of under 500 to get branches like CSE,ISE or ECE and for other branches it can be anywhere between 500 to 2000.
