Pretty bad, just like most Biotech colleges in India. There simply are only a handful of pharma/biotech companies in India, and a simple B.Tech degree is only good for gruntwork, if you get placed. Core companies do come, but don’t go around expecting Biocon or Ranbaxy to come recruiting, let alone offer decent packages (more than 15k/month).
Only a few of my more serious classmates have gone to do a Masters/PhD in abroad (which is ideal). Most have left Biology to do PGs or jobs in other fields.
