The hostels are in Ramapuram (roughly 10–15min from college) and you have a bus for pickup and drop and if u miss the bus u must book a cab or auto and for the infrastructure, it is a whole apartment rented shared with several rooms with others mostly 3 to 4 students.
Ac rooms are limited need to book early or won’t be available, food will be average mostly sucks but as you settle in the first year you get used to it and you will start to search for rooms nearby college and gradually leave hostel as most students do .
Therefore it will be a decent hostel for you to settle in and there will no problems with the timings of hostel you can roam where ever you want and return by night,you can manage one year in hostel and find a better room and food place nearby college.
